big decision

went for Big 4 Networking Night with yy and fionne at nanyang audi. we arrived at 6 to collect our magnetic nametag and went into the auditorium for the talk. As usual, the talk is like a lullaby with similar sppeches by most speakers.. but PWC had their presentation in the form of a game show: Who wants to be a PWC partner, which i tot was pretty engaging and farnie.. hahha

we were shocked by the number of employees each of the bug 4 firms brought for the networking night.. in total, i think the ratio is like 1 employee : 1 student.. the 3 of us were like trying to hide our way thru the crowd after the presentation.. but we failed.. we were stopped by a partner from EY to hand us a goodie bag and of cos prompt us for questions.. i would say tt he's very enthusiastic in getting one of his employee to entertain and ans any qns we haf.. so we stood there for abt 5-10mins socialising.. then we moved on to PWC and once again, we were stopped and this time it's sort of a competition between 2 seniors from PWC trying to 'fight' for the 3 of our attention.. ~_~'' hahah

after mingling around and trying our very best to avoid anymore of those overwhelming seniors, we finally reached our ultimate destination - the food table.. hahha.. we were like thinking of ways to not get any eye contact with any of the seniors around so as not to be targetted by them for Q&A.. so the 3 of us just began chatting non-stop until we saw someone leaving the audi.. and us wanting to get out, follwed suit.. hhahah

i would say tt this networking session is good but a lil too intimidating.. i felt like i was some prey, waiting to be attacked anytime.. maybe they should not ask so many helpers from each firm to come for the networking.. it's the first time tt i saw the nanyang audi filled to the max (except during exams).. hahha.. nonetheless, we still got to know more about the cultures and career opportunities in each firm.. i am considering between Deloitte and PWC.. i like the warm and people-oriented culture but not the management style in Deloitte; the programs offered but not the competitive culture in PWC.. so im kinda caught in a dilemma now.. but i'll still based my decision largely on where the rest choose.. it's good to have good frens entering into the same company as you =)

this is one BIG decision i haf to make now.. but first i haf to think of what is my long term goal and achievement.. but i still dunno and there isnt much time for me to ponder on!!!

HELP!!!
