just whining

3rd week of sch and i am already feeling a bit lost in my cores.. AA304 and AA306 are crazy!!!! so many readings and the tutorials are so tediuos.. will be having my AA306 presentation next week and we are like only 80% thru qns 1 out of 3... good luck to us man.. soon there'll be AA304 presenatation too.. this sem is all early presentations for me.. pros and cons.. finish and get done with all.. hahhah

roomie!!! i wana complain!!! you're MIA like practically this whole week from hall.. leaving me so lonely in the room.. facing the 4 walls, tv and my piles of tutorials and notes.. sad sad... hahha...

but luckily for my beloved neighbour: yy n hq tt made my night better.. occasionally popping by to complain n whine.. n also 'the rest of the world' at the extension - quoted by yl.. hahahha... final yr students are slack in hall..

enjoying company from fellow seniors and 47 peeps..

remaining in the room to do my tut at night.. (i think im like the most hardworking now for the past yrs in the beginning of school)

whatever.. bengs is anti-social for now... lol..

our first medal in 48 years!!!

YEAH!!!! Singapore's finally getting her first Olympic medal in 48 years!!!
was watching the women's table tennis semis after i got home from hall.. it's super exciting for the doubles match and the last singles match.. agreed that it was a close match and am super glad that we managed to make it to the finals!!!
Hope that we will win the Gold medal although we are facing a stronger team - China..
Cant wait to see our flag being raised at the Olympics.. hahhah

Micheal Phelps is so amazing!!! clinched his 7th Gold Medal this morning again (Day 8).. omg!!! and he broke so many records!!!

had a mini gathering with titus (only xl, xy, david, mich n me) cum joanne and xh.. met them after dinner and david drove us to demphsy (dunno if the spelling is correct.. hhaha) road's bnj for ice cream =) the settings for the bnj is very different from that of those that we normally see in the departmental stores.. the deco is very authentic and it's more of wood furnishing... it's a very good place for frens to chill out and enjoy.. the place is abit inaccessible although there are a few buses to reach there..

it's a sch hol!!! so there's no class for me =) went to ecp for cycling with zm and arif.. i wanted to try skating and hence i rented for skates while the both of them got bikes.. but 100m after i skated, i regreted.. i was skating at the pace of a tortise and i couldnt catch up with them. thus i decided to change to bike instead. by right, it is not exchangeable. but the uncle was very kind and allowed me to change =) so i got onto the bike and started cycling..

after cycling for maybe 3 mins, came another accident. i got head on with another on coming bike and i jumped off. suffered a deep cut in the middle of my 4th and little right toe.. it was bleeding non stop. after the both of them helping me to clean the wound, we continued to cycle. so coincidentally at the jetty, i met virgil, david and xy. chatted for a while n we went our separate ways. we went for dinner after returning the bike and arif set off for his tuition. so me n zm hang around esplanade and decided to head home at 9plus cos we were really tired. a day of cycling can make us so tired.. wonder y? hahha

returned to hall in the evening cos i had nothing to do at home. had a senior's drinks party at 47 lounge at 10pm. first drink party that i attended in hall since i shifted in. not a bad experience. at first me and yy din want to drink but we ended up drinking thanks to the game we played suggested by jeremy. thanks roomie for drinking on my behalf when i cannot take it anymore =)

had a good htht session with roomie until 5plus. i always enjoyed htht sessions with roomie!!! i think i'll definitely miss these days after we grad..

a series of unfortunate events

yea... finally FOC is over and it marks the start of a new term.. im a final year student now.. omg.. sounds so old... it seems like this is gg to be the end of my study and hall life.. feeling a lil sad tt its all gg to come to an end... but on a brighter note, i still have a year to spend my time with all my frens n beloved hall mates esp my neighbours!!!!

FOC 2008

foc had been a tiring event.. shall not elaborate much cos i dun want to sound like im complaining all over again... glad tt it's over and happy to see the freshies settled into hall 9 n mixing well with everyone.. wana thank all my GLs for the efforts to hype up the spirit and for screaming so much tt almost all of them lost their voices.. also to the programmers esp my best frens - CPs for trying to ensure a smooth flow of the programmes..

being a CGL is definitely different from a GL.. firstly, i do not get to play as much as when im a GL cos i haf to settle all the admin and misc stuffs.. secondly, the no of freshies i can rem is limited cos i do not haf a specific OG to attached to.. and lastly, i do not get to cheer as much.. LOL.. missing all the cheers with my fellow GLs and TITUS!!! will try to come back to help for next year's FOC =)

start of academic yr 2008/2009

the first day back to hall (on tue) for the academic year had been a very unlucky one..

1. i lost my stylus when my phone is only 3 days old.. but i found it today when i was changing to go for lecture.. dunno how it got stuck into my shirt.. one happy thing to note =)

2. my clothes got washed tog with some disgusting guy's undergarments!!!! im ABSOLUTELY SURE when i put my clothes in to wash, the washing machine was empty.. but when i went back to collect after dinner, i found guy's undergarments in it!!! EWW!!! whenever i think of it i feel like puking n scolding vulgarities (but of cos i din cos i dun.. hahha) WANA SAVE ON WASHING POWDER ALSO NOT LIDDAT CAN!!! so unhygenic... but thanks to wj i got my revenge.. he took the undergarments out of the machine n threw them on the floor and we both stepped on it.. serves him right =P

had my first clubbing experience at dbl O today.. din really like the idea of clubbing but it was an eye opener for me.. saw the dirty, clean, fun and caring sides of ppl..

wonder how ppl can just get hooked onto each other for the night and start making out..
wonder how easily someone can get drunk within 2 hours..
wonder what ppl are thinking and how they are feelng when they get drunk..
wonder y some ppl are just so addicted to clubbing..
wonder y ppl likes to drink..
wonder y r/s can be so fragile..

these are just random thoughts... no need to out much attention to it.. hahha
but i wana give credits to the guys who went clubbing with us... jj, cy, yl and wj.. they had been good bodyguards.. always looking out for the safety of the gals... although for most of them it's their first time to a club too.. 3 cheers for you guys =)

i doubt i'll go clubbing again.. once is enough.. it's just not the place for me.. =P
but im glad i had this experience.. i can loudly say I'VE BEEN TO A CLUB!!! hahha
