spring cleaning

today's a busy day for me..

went to posb bank in the morning with daddy to get my card changed.. finally i changed from the super ancient grey posb card to the new debit card!!! so happy... it seems like i'm the only one still holding on to the grey card.. hahah.. but too bad i could not change the bankbook cos there's still like 3 pages left? cannot change until it's left with the last page.. so now i'm still holding onto the green book.. hais... received the first payment from government for GST too!! now jenny, you've got the money, can we go cut hair on sat? my hair is like super out of shape now... hahhah

after we reached home, rest for a while and i began the big project - spring cleaning for my room.. hahha.. began digging out the clothes that i haven been wearing and tada... they formed 4 tiny mountains.. after packing them into the recycling bag, i packed my cupboard and it's very neat now... so happy... wonder how long can it last this way.. hahha.. next, moved on to pack my table which is full of my notes for this semester and put them all into a box.. and i've got a table that has so much space!! felt so relieved that i managed to clean my room out of the mess =)

i did some stock take on certain items.. realised that i have 12 eeyore ranging from as big as teh peng to as small as the handphone holder in my room in hall.. and i have 8 pullovers + jackets (excluding hall windbreaker)!!! omg.. i was very into jackets for a period of time.. hhahha

looking at the tons of clothes that i had discarded, thoughts ran through my mind.. we are so fortunate - having food and shelter over heads and that we can buy so many clothes as compared to the other children in the third world countries who are fighting for survival, we're ought to be thankful.. but we seemed not to be contented.. we should learn to treasure our resources and not waste them.. laura sent a sudden and random sms telling me that she wants to adopt a child after she graduated. it will only cost $45 a month. i thought tt it was so nice of her and i felt like adopting one too.. it is such meaningful thing to do!! to be able to help other children when we have the ability to do so.. =)

ok enough of the random thoughts.. hhaha... so in the evening, i went to town to meet my younger sis for dinner at pastamania at cine.. after that, we went to num to buy her flip flops.. she had this leaflet that entitles her to 20% off storewide.. after trying on numerous pairs and hesitating, she finally settled on the pair that she wanted to get. i think we stayed in the store for about 20-25mins? hahha... this is my sis - fickle minded.. hehe.. next, we went to hereen and taka.. i managed to get a formal skirt from G2000.. i tink i'm so gg to burn a big hole in my pocket for buying all the formal wear, heels and bags for PA.. it's so not worth it..

having walk the whole night, we decided to head home.. once again, my legs are killing me.. i totally cannot shop for a long time man.. hhahha... reached home and watched 'Pandemic' on channel 5 before taking a bath.. the story is quite similar to 'Outbreak' that i watched during BS803. it's not a full movie but a 4 episode serial.. i hope i'll remember to catch the rest of the episodes =)
